Join Govind Armstrong, Executive Chef and owner of 8 oz. Burger Bars in L.A. and Miami, and Andrea Robinson, one of only 16 women worldwide to hold the title of Master Sommelier, for an event that will change the way you dine and entertain.
Andrea will pour forth a lesson on wine and introduce her new stemware collection, “The One”™, while Govind does the cooking. Afterwards, they’ll share the basics of proper wine and food partners - as well as their tasty meal - with you! Andrea and Govind will be available to sign copies of their books after their presentations.
Govind Armstrong was already cooking in the kitchen at age 13. Twenty one years later, this talented celebrity chef has made a name for himself in the culinary world. He began cooking as a teenager and has trained under some of the country’s most renowned chefs, including Wolfgang Puck at Spago; Mark Peel and Nancy Silverton at Campanile; and Joachim Splichal at Patina and Pinot Hollywood.
Andrea Robinson is one of the country’s leading wine educators. She was the first woman ever chosen Best Sommelier in the United States by the Sommelier Society of America. With vast professional accomplishments, eight books, two television programs and an online video wine course to her credit, Andrea's down-to-earth and energetic approach to wine as well as wine and food pairings has helped demystify the subject for hundreds of thousands of consumers and beverage professionals across the globe.
